circa 1800, with browned octagonal slightly swamped 9 3/4in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'WOGDON & BARTON LONDON' in script, engraved band at breech, small blade fore-sight, engraved colour hardened top-tang with standing notch rear-sight, gold lined touch-hole, borderline engraved bevel-edged stepped tail lock signed 'WOGDON & BARTON below the pan, swan-necked cock, bridled frizzen, walnut full-stock with semi slab-sided bag-shaped grip, rear-tailed domed iron butt-cap, rolled edge trigger guard with single set trigger and horn-tipped mahogany ramrod, strong traces of finish and colour throughout
